Driving through northern Montana is about as exciting as watching my grandma knit, that is, until my husband got pulled over for speeding. We were clocked at going 81 in a 70mph zone. When the officer informed us that speeding 10-19 miles over the limit is a $20 fine, I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing. Then, he said in a serious voice that speeding 20+mph over is a $40 fine. "Oh please, officer, don't ticket us!" The last time I was pulled over in Wisconsin for speeding 8mph over the limit, my fine was over $130. And it was my first offense! Thanks to wearing our seat belts, we got off with merely a warning and spent the $20 on lottery tickets during our next fill-up.kjramstackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06159351218324359096noreply@blogger.com
